This piece is the ORIGINAL Pastel painting of 'Lobster Buoy #3'.
I used pastel pencils on Pastelmat Card for my substrate.
The artwork measures 5"x 5" and is matted with a spacer so that if there should be any flaking of pastel (unlikely) it will slide in between the mats. Framed in a Black Wood Gallery Frame that measures 10"x 10" with UV resistant glass to help prevent fading. It has hardware for hanging on a wall and an easel back for display on a table or shelf.

The reference photo for this piece was taken when we played tourist and went for a sail on the Schooner Surprise out of Camden, Maine. It was a gorgeous day with gentle waves and I was drawn to the variety of lobster buoys in the bay and the beautiful water ripples. I just had to capture them and started a series of buoy paintings!
