I hope my play on words for the title 'Coastal Currency' with 'sand dollars' is obvious! Titles are so hard to come up with and I was darn proud of myself over this one! This drawing took several years to finish. I was in love with it while I was drawing the sand dollars and the glass bowl but once I started the wood grain I lost my patience. I summoned the will to finish after my cancer battle was over. I am so glad I did! The wood grain turned out to be so satisfying!
