This piece is the ORIGINAL Pastel Painting titled 'Out To Pasture'.
I used pastel pencils on PastelMat card. The artwork measures 11"H x 14"W and has an archival white mat. It has a custom made gray wood frame measuring 19 1/4"H x 22"W and is fitted with UV glass to prevent fading. It has wire hardware for wall mounting.
Such a typical scene that plays out in many a field in Maine! Time for some tender loving care! This piece of art would not have been possible without the inspiration of a beautiful reference photo by Marg Currie who kindly gave permission.
I definitely cursed at myself many times while working on this piece! All those trees! All those weeds! It was 52 hours of quite fiddly work but it was so worth it in the end!
